Autopilot and evergreen
Switch autopilot on
Autopilot comes with the Team and Business plans. On the brand's Autopilot tab, a manager of the brand turns on Plan this brand with autopilot, chooses how far to Plan ahead, writes the Strategy, sets the Posts per week of each channel (0 to 14) and the Markets whose public holidays become occasions, and presses Save changes. Everyone on the brand sees the settings. While autopilot is on, the plan is kept filled every hour; Plan now fills it at once. Turning it off keeps what is planned. It plans for Instagram and Facebook Pages, and for X once X accounts are offered.
This page names places in the sidebar and in a brand's tabs. If your layout or the simple mode hides one, All sections, the last item of the sidebar's first group, and Ctrl+K still reach it; Getting started explains the layout.
What it plans
Plan lists the posts autopilot has planned, with the channel, the pillar and What it says: it places them at the channels' best times and takes their angles from your strategy, pillars, dates, holidays and news. Under Your dates, Add the date adds an anniversary, a launch or another day worth a post, once or Every year. Under Campaigns AI proposes, Plan this campaign opens a proposal in the campaign planner, where you change anything before AI drafts it, and Dismiss drops it. One planning run uses 5 credits, however many weeks and posts it fills.
Approve a week at once
A week before, autopilot drafts that week's posts with their pictures as one batch; each channel's version of a post uses 1 credit. Under Batches, Review the batch opens the week. Change or Reject single posts first if you want, then Approve all 7 posts approves every post still waiting, or Approve this post approves one. X posts are approved one by one: approving a whole batch leaves them out, and each waits for its own approval. What is not approved by its time does not go out.
Unattended publishing
Where the service allows it, a manager can turn on Publish without a person's approval under Unattended publishing: choose the Review window, confirm the consent and save. Autopilot's posts on Instagram and Facebook still waiting after the window are then approved automatically; rejecting or pausing a post stops it. Held posts, spot checks and X are never approved this way. Where it is not available yet, the card says so and every post waits for a person.
Evergreen
The brand's Evergreen tab brings published posts back. New category asks for a Name and, for each channel, every how many days a post of the category returns, from 1 to 365; leave a channel empty to keep the category off it. Evergreen never returns posts to X. Under Recently published, Add to a category puts a post in a category with an end: Expires on, a Number of returns, or whichever comes first; Add the post saves it. The post that returned least recently returns next, each time in a new version AI writes for the channel, never the same text twice in a row, for 1 credit; every return waits in Approvals. The brand's managers and editors change the categories; Remove and Delete stop the returns and keep what already returned.
